Years ago, I would have rushed to live in York centre.

Not now.

And its not due to me getting older.

York centre is not nice at night.

York's always been rough - despite the Minster, York is pretty much a blue collar, regional centre.

Now, York has become a popular place for Middlesbrough scum to come on the train, get pissed and fight.
