Can Anyone Remember?

Recommended Posts

Hi

Great forum!

Can anyone remember what price a typical new build semi was in Lisburn (or some commuter town to Belfast) around the height of the boom (2006-2007).

E.g. the type of semis that are currently being sold for 125-140 in Lisburn at the minute?

Thanks!

A typical semi that is selling for £135k to £140k now would have went to £240k, for a few months in early 2007. Six months earlier it would have been £180k

Family member bought one outside of Lisburn which was on at 225k at peak for 120K last year. Not a repo either.

Have seen houses on at over 300 at peak being repo'd and asking price of 160

The (northern) irish are as thick as the southern english.

My semi with a garage in Co. Armagh was bought by the previous owner for £227k in 2007, I bought it as a repo in 2011 for a lot, lot less - sub £90k.
