Dave Loan Ranger C4

Recommended Posts

Bloke who did bank of dave now doing payday lenders.

The chargers just explode the debt meaning you simply can never pay it off. Legalised loan sharking.

If I had no assets and lived on benefits I would get every payday loan they would give me and tell them to sod off when they asked for it back, surprised more people don't

Yes it's amazing that some of these companies with such flashy TV adverts the head office is in fact a mail forwarding address. The consumer action groups should run ads showing the companies listed head office and ask if you'd want to borrow from them. I have to admit it's not what I thought the head office would look like.

I'd still have liked him to get a lawyer onboard to challenge the contract with footage of him turning up to pay off the loan at the head office with no one there to take the money.

Saw this. Despite the Frank SIdebottom-ish accent demeanour, inability to use a satnav and genuine empathy for the people, I think his solution was wrong.

These people don't need a better bank. These people should be avoiding debt and working.

Yep.

Despite the usurious charges, unsecured credit is not good business: lending money to people with no money. Check out the Yes car credit story.

Overtime used to be the saviour.

Skint? Ask for some overtime and you'd earn the extra money you needed.

Tax credits ruined people - why work a bit extra when you needed money if the state would give it you for nothing?
