Best Xmas Gift Idea £25-£50?

Recommended Posts

Looking for some decent git ideas for around £50 or less. Anyone got any ideas or even ones to avoid?

Please, no weather stations!

Best Christmas gift idea for £25-50 is either £25 or £50s. Two twenties and a ten pound note preferably. :)

If they are a reader, a first and/or signed edition of a favourite author. Can be surprisingly affordable if a modern but non-bestselling author.

Silver £20 coin from the Royal Mint for...£20.

Gardeners might appreciate seeds etc.

Pair of tickets for some luxury seating at a local cinema.

What about a giant Ronson lighter and matching ash tray?

Not sure if you're talking male, female etc but I always used to get stuck with what to buy my boyfriends Dad. Subscription to Private Eye, £28 for the year, it gets delivered (monthly or fortnightly can't remember) he loves it.

Edit: Just seen the title tag line. Yes this falls under "his, her, unisex" (gay, straight, bi, TV)

Thanks for tip, exactly what I'm looking for, buy it online?

Just checked online and it's out of stock. Shame. Can you still buy in-store? Also, did you have some kind of advance warning email about this offer and act quick or just get lucky "in store"?

The phrase "gift ideas" sums up much of what I object to about this time of year!

Two silver Britannias for a sprog type rellie.

A bottle of booze for an adult (drinking) rellie.

But generally I wouldn't bother.

I had an email yesterday from hot uk deals. Bought it online (free postage) immediately. No idea if it's in store asy nearest store is a ferry ride away. I understand Curry's may match their price.

Thanks, I think you have to act fast on those emails, someone else suggested hotukdeals before, sounds like one email circular that's worth signing up for. I'm guessing that's why it's sold out though.

Yep. I've had a couple of really good deals like the Lexmark 32 gig jump drive for £8.35 and if course the Kindle.

Love those dinky little, legal carry Douk Douks.

Mercator do a street legal version of the K55K too.

Heinnies is a bit of a rip for Douk Douks/ Mercators. This French guy is cheaper, even including postage charges, especially on full-size Douk Douks and he does that retro, Euro-style wrapping things up in brown paper thing too.

I just had a look at my shopping wish-list to see if their was anything I could suggest as a less specialised gift. However everything on it is on the specialised/ utilitarian side. It did dawn on me that a litre of acetone would qualify as a unisex gift though.
