:D

Wow - Thanks consa.

What a good-looking and friendly looking bunch you are - a party I'm sorry to have missed.

Who found that they already knew someone behind the forum moniker ?

Who left with whom . . . . . any HPC weddings in the offing ?

Starcrossed looks just like his avatar.

Dunroamin looks like she made a popular subject for the camera lens - consa - stop blushing !

Ah well, hope to be there next time.

Big shout out to the HPC crew...

Charlie The Tramp, still keepin it real after 6 decades at the top

big up to my boy Nijo and all the SE3 posse

maximum respect going out to Webmaster for organising, the nibbles alone were worth the stroll down Queen Victoria Street

Bored Train Builder, voice of reason, the man behind the legend, still rockin' that Catholic chic and not afraid to decry bulls**t wherever it may be. A real seeker of truth.

Dunroamin' what can I say, the scouse in the house and I still can't bring myself to slate your posts. I'm touched that you thought I looked normal, I usually get quite the opposite reaction.

and everyone else. Wicked. I haven't met such a delightful, charming and attractive bunch of people since I did jury service with a vicar, three aspiring models, half a dozen red roses, a particularly cute puppy, a bunny wabbit, and a 2kg pot of honey. Needless to say the defendent got off...

with that HPC lot on our side, how can we fail? And that was only the advance guard! :)

What's with all those suits and ties? It looks like a frigging estate

agents' conference.

Only joking. Definitely too many suits though. :)

Unfortunately TTRTR, some of us do have to work and/or set an example, hence the ties. All this dressing down crap is just moronic.

Heh, wrong end of the stick Sherm. :)

Anyway, I came in my best brown jumper which is, on average, fairly smart for me and my typical working day. But I do appreciated that some folks are constrained to the expectations of society. It's all good.

You know what surprises me looking at the photos?

The apparent ages of the majority of the members.

Don't take it the wrong way peeps, it is a valid point. Most of you aren't exactly "Spring Chickens" if you'll excuse me for saying so (and neither am I at 28), and to see so many people who appear to be at least in their late 20's upwards gathered in a pub because they can't afford to buy a house these days is rock solid proof that something has got to change real soon!

Hope I haven't offended anyone with this observation...

I made a similar observation myself at the time. I am 30, and I know of only one person there younger than I (although I'm sure there were more). Mind you, there were a lot of STRs there don't forget, it's not merely a question of people not being able to afford it. Some simply don't want to. And if I was in their boat, I'd feel exactly the same way.
