blobloblob
The nights are long, it's cold outside and the shops are full of Christmas tat. It can only mean one thing - it's time for Celebrity Death Sweepstake again. The Organising Committee have worked closely with the Mods and Fubra to ensure that no editing is required this year but otherwise the competition follows more or less the same rules, with just one amendment. Rule 1. Pick 2 celebrities you think (or perhaps you simply hope) will die between 1/1/14 and 31/12/14 Rule 1a. One must be 'Junior', i.e. under 75 on the 1st January Rule 1b. The other must be 'Senior', i.e. over 75 Rule 2. Minimum age for your junior celebrity must be 18 on 1st January 2014 Rule 2a. In the event that either Miley Cyrus or Justin Bieber are under 18, they are exempt from Rule 2 Rule 3. There is no prize but if there was, it would have nothing to do with paedos Rule 4. Each celebrity is only available on a "first come first served" basis. If someone else has already chosen them, then hard luck Rule 5. Only bona fide celebrities are allowed. Anyone who is famous just for being the oldest person in the world / Britain / Hebden Bridge etc. is not a celebrity for the purposes of this competition Rule 6. Entries will only be accepted if they are posted on this thread before midnight on the 31st December 2013. Any entry placed after that time is null and void Rule 7. If your chosen celebrity dies before the end of 2013, you can choose a different one, subject to Rule 6. Rule 8. I'm not a celebrity but if tonytramcar wants to pick me again, I will count as a valid selection for the junior category. Well it's traditional innit? In a shock move, Margaret Thatcher actually did die in 2013. However, there are still several old favourites out there just waiting to pop their clogs in 2014 so place your bets now! The Committee reserves the right to make up more rules on the spot for no good reason.

Freeholder
Dennis Healy is 96 so if he goes to his rest next year that will be just in time for John Prescott, age 74, should he be spared, to become my senior category entry for 2015.
ccc
Having a look at some of the 'juniors' clearly imo anyway the age bracket needs to be modified forthwith !! Make it 40 or something to make it interesting. Making it 75 makes it more or less pointless imo.
