The Things You Get Excited About

Recommended Posts

missus just said 'that's quite jazzy' when presented with this:

anyone else get giddy at the mundane of adult life?

Don't knock that heated airer! Bought one for daughters last Chr. since they had nowhere to dry stuff in wet weather - they were exceedingly chuffed with it and they are very far from sad old fartettes like moi!

(You are allowed to get a bit excited over something that dries jeans and sheets overnight when previously you've had them dripping round the house for days.).

Things to get excited about when getting old ?

Waking up in the morning ?

Saga Magazine popping through the letterbox?

How much you've saved with that free buspass?

Raising the rents on all your BTL's?

I would like to have a bath with one of the Pointer Sisters, and I don't care which one!:huh:

Isn't that what tablets were designed for.

I know not of "tablets". Didn't God give some to Abraham?

...Why, I don't know, should you ask him?.....were they keep taking the tablets or were they kept being given? ;)

My left handed scissors, tin opener and ruler. Love 'em.

Got one of those too. Broken at the moment sadly. Hoping for spare parts for Christmas.

Me too.

I'd be lost without my southpaw pen1s.

You might meet a left handed woman! That's confusing!

But you can't get left handed boxer shorts. It takes me ages fumbling about when I go to the toilet. Well that's my excuse anyway.

I might have known you lot would be a load of left handers.

I have to say for most things I can use either hand. W*nking is the only one where I need both.

Obviouosly two hands for that!

I guess they would have invested in a tumble dryer if there had been anywhere to put it. They had a perfectly good washing machine left by previous owners and replacing that with a washer dryer would have cost £500+.

Suspect the airer is cheaper to run than a t/dryer. I am told it warms the upstairs nicely, too.

Great?

I suspect the sensations you are experiencing are the sensations right-handed people get when using what we right-handers call 'ordinary scissors'. :P

I'm fine with just a scis. But they commonly come in pairs, so you can have one for each hand :P
