Ed Balls: We should have built more homes and not spent billions refurbishing council houses

Shadow Chancellor said his party had poured billions of pounds into refurbishing existing council houses at the expense of building new home

Labour now wants to build new garden cities across the countryside in order to tackle Britain’s chronic lack of properties

Is this building cities in and around London, it seems pointless building them anywhere else in the country. The proles need somewhere local to commute into London to serve their rich masters.

They seem to be doing recant a policy a day. It's just recently they were saying they got it wrong on immigaration.

Yet when they were in power they would argue their policies were correct until the cows came home. If they were still in power they would still be arguing in favour of their old policies.

I think a lot of the remaining Council stock (post 70's) perhaps isn't worth keeping to be honest. A lot of it was shoddy system building. See my avatar!
