winkie
It only takes one of them to rent or buy a big place, fill it with paying tenants, mattresses and bunk beds, a temporary place to lay their heads for a while.....hot beds can mean they never get the chance to cool down. campervanman
Cynical of what !!!! What do you base those sweeping statements on Daily Mail/Express/Sun propaganda but it's ok 'cos it's anti foreigner sheeple brainwashing not HPI sheeple brainwashing. People are only stupid if they are brainwashed by the media when it comes to house prices, any other form of brainwashing is acceptable particularly when it reinforces union jack underpants wearing bigotry. markyh
£5000 / m2? in buttf*ck nowhere... that takes the biscuit. A) Tring is lovely, my hometown, more like a big village than a town. Bungalow plots are ripe for buying up, knocking down bungie and replacing with a 5 bed 2 story house. In that area 5 bed with offroad parking a decent garden would go for £500-£600k i would guess. I occasionally try to have a rational discussions with my parents on this issue (one down the road sold for 300K so ours must be worth 370K) - but they just sit glazed over and open-mouthed when I talk ... it just doesn't compute that adding 20% to last sold price every time doesn't work forever.
