so I understand the ethos of the existence of this site...............

but..................

there is NO differentiation of members...........

members =

genuine first time buyers............... covered!

chaps who need to sell and financially downsize.................. ridiculed??!??

.................discuss please!

...............after all there are more in scenario 2 than scenario 1!!!!!!!

I don't really understand your question but from my experience here there are a huge variety of members from first time buyers to people who live abroad and have no real interest in buying in the UK.

If you look at the sub-boards you will see some members are really only interested in specific investments such as precious metals and rarely post on the main boards.

I own my home and have no plans on selling, downsizing or moving. However, this site questions the economic and financial atmosphere in the UK to a far greater degree than any other and that is why I post here. That is what makes it a great site.

Obviously with the name 'HousePriceCrash' the site will primarily attract people who want to see such an event but it is certainly not limited to only them.
