#660-0FF - purple for the non-techies

I don't normally post stuff like this, but came across the post from another website.

All I can say is...WTF.

Every bloody room is the same. And they want £400k.

Grimace and Barney's love nest/bolthole?

I think the aim of many sellers is now is too do something 'shocking' to the property (but not fatal) so it acts as link bait on all the social media sites.

The only thing really outrageous is the price!

Not quite knowing the housing market in that part of the country, I thought £400k wasn't too bad a price for it. That would easily be £250k in Norfolk.

Quite like the colour scheme - but not in every single room.

I have a craving for a bar of Dairy Milk now. :)

It's not the colour that bothers me, it's that they appear to have a bedroom-diner.

If you look at the photo in the heart shaped frame in the bottom right of the photo it looks like they're wearing the same shade of purple too.

You say this has appeared elsewhere on social media?

Cadbury's viral? Or am I too cynical?

"I'll take it!"

You have to admire the amount of effort gone into his lifestyle to get his nose to match the same shade ......

even the lizards would have to be impressed

Yeah , I was more shocked by the bedroom-diner too. You got to love a bit of purple! Must have been a sell on bulk buying purple paint the weekend they went to B&Q!

Shame they didn't plant purple grass! :P

I feel nauseous just looking at it and that's the honest truth.

It's like a cross between a crematorium and a brothel.

Hideous absolutely hideous!

Good work for getting this picture on the thread. Reminded me of Buñuel's 'The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie' and the scene where the people at the dinner party discover that they are on stage.

In what sounds like a children’s story, you could soon live in a purple house, with purple walls, purple floors and purple doors – after this unique property came on the market. The outside of the semi-detached home in Hillingdon is white and estate agent R Whitley & Co describes the pad as having "a family-inspired design". But be prepared for 50 shades of purple inside – with everything from carpets, wallpaper, units, upholstery, furniture, rugs, cushions, chairs, curtains and tiles in purple - even the sinks and toilet. If you're looking to own your own private purple patch it will cost you £400,000 for the four-bedroom home in on Uxbridge Road in Middlesex.

But act fast, because a potential buyer is apparently already lined up. Link

A purple dream for one lucky buyer.
