Kaiser Report E524

Recommended Posts

Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss confessions and corruption, back doors and austerity. They look at Mark Carney’s claim that house prices are rising because of expectations of higher wages and at David Cameron’s calls for permanent austerity for the non-corporate class. Max suggests QE is being used not only to keep TBTF banks afloat but to keep whole bankers that would otherwise be vivisected. In the second half, Max interviews Cody Wilson about living in a trifecta of disruptive technology as a citizen of the future in which bitcoin means a thousand silk roads and fanfare for the common man.

I wonder what % of the adult UK population actually know who Mark Carney is?

I'd say about 50% would recognise him as Gov of the Bank of England.

Of course, they'd be wrong. He is in fact a liar, a thief and Osbourne's stooge.

The episode before (E523) had on Dominic Frisby someone who occasionally posts on here as Frizzers promoting his book 'Life After the State.' A good second half interview about the size of the state, money and the corporate take-over. Clever chap!

I would genuinely be surprised if it was even 1/10th of that figure, i.e 5% of the population. And actually, Osborne is his stooge, he just doesn't know it.

I doubt more than 5% of the UK native active population knows the existence and the role of the B.o.E. I guess 100% know Simon Cowell.

Out of interest I asked 20 people today if they knew who the new BoE gov was.

Result: 17 no/3 yes, so 15%. Depressing.

To be fair two of the no's said "That Canadian bloke", one said "That yank" and another said "That bloke who looks like a cross between Clooney and a snake-oil salesman."

Max seems to mention gold/silver as an afterthought these days and seems reluctant to push it like he did, was a savage takedown this year, yet he hasnt mentioned that too much to my mind.
