Quick And Effective Relief Conjunctivitus

Recommended Posts

Any suggestions or Homoeopathic remedies?

Onset yesterday saw dispensing chemist who gave me anti biotic eye drops I had the last time (a year ago). They took a while to work back then a few days to relieve the pain/discomfort and a good 3 weeks till the photo phobia was completely gone.

Having to waer a pair of very dark glasses to type this so please excuse spelling errors.

Very strong symptoms for conjunctivitis IMO, I'd go to an eye specialist or at the very least a doctor.

try a combination of garlic (oil or powdered),and flaxseed/starflower oil.

load up with plenty of oily fish like mackerel too,(for omega 3)

Get thee to a quack.

I suffered with conjunctivitis for years on and off for years. Every time I went to an NHS walk-in centre, they gave me antibiotics (no GP would take me on in London). Largely giving up milk products helped for a time. Then it came back with a vengeance last year. Finally, went to the quack and eventually discovered it was a dust allergy.

Since moving to the countryside it has virtually vanished. Had one attack in the last year.

I found a damp cloth (either very warm or cold) helped relieve the symptoms. Do not rub your eyes if you can possibly help it - it only makes it worse apparently (sometimes considerably so).
