Loads Of 95% Mortgages On Moneysupermarket

Recommended Posts

Just done a search with moneysupermarket.com for 95% FTB mortgages

Lots of 95% mortgages that weren't there a couple of days ago.

Most seem to be around 4.49%

EDIT: I think I've dropped a b0llock with this thread.

They're probably all NewBuy or some other existing scheme

I'm sure they weren't there a couple of days ago, though.

MODERATORS: it might be best to delete this thread.

You didn't drop a testicle, I think it's duff data: I saw a Lloyds 95% LTV mortgage on there a few weeks ago, a few days later I spoke to the local Lloyds Mortgage commissary and they denied any knowledge of offering such a product, 90% LTV is/was their max offer. (FYI: I admit that I panicked when I saw the HTB2 rubbish.. I got my mojo together before I did anything rash)

There's a huge difference between advertising and getting.

Nearly as much difference as between getting one and paying it back when the cost of the loan goes up, the value of the asset falls and your means of paying it back stagnates.
