SHERWICK
Our limit sells at 525p triggered this morning at 8:30am! Between the four of us we've made over £1,700 after dealing costs for just a few clicks - Almost seems criminal. As we're in London this weekend, we've booked a table at Vertigo 42 for early on Saturday evening. Somehow seems an appropriate place! Ended up at the day low lolol

My goodness....something that makes money faster than property does......think if you had been allocated the £10,000.....how much did the big boys get I wonder? weaker
Well, I've been watching and I think now is the time to get in and short RM. I'm calling something of a top here at 537.5p Let's see how I do. Edited October 23, 2013 by weaker
Harry Monk
Well done, I make that about £450, which isn't bad for a few minutes work. I'm not sure what to do but I'm not in any hurry to sell as there's no point having the money back in a savings account, earning diddly-squat. Even if the share price stabilises now then the expected dividend of 6% is about the best return I'll get on money. I'd say there's an evens chance that the share price will double over 2-3 years and I have the time to take a punt on that.

I'm calling something of a top here at 537.5p Let's see how I do. Good so far........................... The interest of a hedge fund had bigged the price up yesterday. Seems a bit of a gamble from hereonin, not to say that Harry Monk is wrong. Meantime I got out on Monday with a £358.70 profit after commission. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-24624943 Edited October 24, 2013 by crashmonitor
Harry Monk
What's the thinking behind them doubling in price Harry? I visualise there being two or three major players hoovering up the majority of shares being sold, and sooner or later one will try to obtain the majority shareholding. I could be wrong, but I can't see the point in selling right now.
Bradbury Robinson
We placed a couple of sell requests last week to bail out at 560p, which should (in theory!) clear about £500 profit. They activated this morning and sold all 227 shares at 562p. So for that reason.....I'm out!

motch
Still going up!!! One day strike planned for monday 4th nov has been called off, more talks between RM and CWU and possibly reaching a deal, not sure if this helps.
Grandad
Grandma sold her shares for a nice profit and a big smile. I bought quite a few more when the price dipped for a couple of days. At the moment I am showing an overall gain of 17% on my total investment. I am now, of course, wishing I had bought more. Where can I rent a time machine? crashmonitor
Now at almost 590p! One commentator widely in the media at the time of the launch put the value of the shares at £5.99. A strange valuation, more of a sell target I would have thought. Edited November 4, 2013 by crashmonitor

The Masked Tulip
Looks like it could go down near £4.00 in the coming weeks. Someone appears to be accumulating though.

crashmonitor
Saving the blushes of those of us that stagged out in the first week at £5.25 - £5.50 approx. Didn't realise it had tanked to £4.45....even Cable might be able to say told you so soon. Edited July 25, 2014 by crashmonitor

Timak
Meltdown and trading at an all time low.................. http://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shares-search-results/r/royal-mail-plc-ordinary-gbp0.01 Look at the broker estimates - a month or so ago they were up to £7 a share. Even now every broker says they are worth a lot more than the current trading price. So why the sudden dip?
gf3
Down 15p to 405p today. Just read that Neil Woodford has bought some. I am guessing he bought them before today's 3.61% drop.
