MPs, peers and staff tried to access porn sites up to 800 times a day

Records reveal attempts to view adult material peaked in November 2012

Critics question why Parliament staff are 'surfing questionable websites'

I hope they are watching in HD to make use of the fibre optic network no doubt installed in Parliament.

Is Jacqui Smiths husband on her payroll there?

There is some relatively new neuroscience theory that links a variety of physical and mental effects from watching too much pron.

. If they don't find out it could be poetic justice for them.

Blindness?

That's from wa**king too much. The effects are far more insidious. The hypothesis is that watching pron becomes an addiction and a very hard (no pun intended) one to beat. The symptoms include losing the ability to obtain an erection with a real partner and having to watch more extreme types of pron to become sexually aroused. Read some of the case studies to see the effects. .

If the hypothesis is correct it could explain why paedophilia sites are becoming a more widespread problem. There have been a number of prosecutions recently regarding child pron being found on computers. Would be interesting to see if some MPs, Peers and staff are prosecuted for this type of offence.

Tried to implies they were unsuccessful. Just how difficult is it to find this stuff?

If the filters used are anything like those applied in my office then anything with the vaguest mention of sex is blocked including needless to say all the MSM news articles devoted to Jimmy Savile, Operation Yewtree etc. Ironically my employer lists breaking news links on its main intranet page then proceeds to block them if they then do not pass its content filter (quite why they dont simply weed them out from their own display is beyond me). I would suspect your chance of actually getting to a porn site on the internet from an official computer network are slim to none though I suppose it is possible that Parliament does not have the same sort of locked down networks as the Civil Service or much of local government.

The one great advantage of porn filters is that they not only block all the smut on the internet but also all mind numbingly boring ramblings of those who like to rail against the evils of masturbation or page 3 of the Sun. That is something all those who are keen on filtering at ISP level need to bear in mind. Once it goes into operation they are going to find they are going to wind up on the banned list along with all the pornographers

Not difficult nowadays, as pictures of fully-dressed 17 year olds can be classified as porn. Porn it seems, is what the prosecutor decides it will be.

Erectile dysfunction is probably more to do with the over-consumption of anti-depressants and blood pressure medications, than the result of viewing porn IMV.

That's why I'm very interested in what images Rolf Harris is alleged to have made in 2012.

Addicted to pron ?

As soon as you shoot your load - the latest episode of homes under the hammer would probably be more enticing.

Bondage, I heard.

"...tie me kangaroo down sport, tie me kangaroo down...."

.

it's well known in legal circles that a "kangaroo" is code for a "good jumper", that is, an attractive late adolescent. I think. Sure I heard it somewhere....

Bad news for fans of the Railway Children who can be expecting to do time soon for watching the 17 year old Jenny Agutter take her petticoat off and wave it in the air to stop that train (ironically her 'younger' sister in the film was played by Sally Thomsett who at 20 was three years older). Agutter was actually under 16 when she played the same role in the TV serialisation of the book in 1968. Anyone with a tape of that old BBC series will doubtless be receiving a visit from plod in the not too distant future.

My opinion of "politicians" is mostly they are "highly polished turds"! You don't think you can "polish a turd"? Good PR can!
