The Knimbies who say No Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Isn't the real scandal here that 60% of the cash price you pay for petrol is tax. So put £10 of petrol in the car, that's £6.00 tax and £4 for the actual product. And we queue to pay like good meek little citizens.... I wish we would start talking about fuel taxation in the same terms as other taxes, ie 150% tax rather than 60% of the price of fuel.
