Only 53% of households in Detroit are paying their property taxes, while at the same time the smaller city population/workforce has a ever-growing retiree tail to look after. Looks like the S finally made it to the fan. Zimbabwe, Michigan is just what happens when you have perpetual left-wing government and open borders. Before long, the productive get fed up with paying for it and leave. The population who remain are even more left-wing and vote for even more stuff to be paid for with other peoples' money... but those 'other people' aren't there any more.
