Neighbouring house on sale at £125k.

Thats an expensive way to buy a new kitchen/carpets/bathroom.

The £125k one is non standard construction (cash buyers) although the 260k seems very steep, maybe typo and should be £160k? it has been renovated to be mortgageable from non standard i'd say.

Theyre all non-standard on that cul de sac. Even said it in the ad for the £260k one last year when it was up and sold for £125k

I couldn't see that mentioned in the new 260k ad. A building can be changed from non standard to standard construction with some major building work (I think) so i'm wondering if this has happened here, however i'd say 260k is way over.

That explains it then. If it enables you to get into more debt it's clearly worth more.

They've 'young idiot person' deneutralised it, and it's a bungalow usually bought by older people who would want (a) low maintenance garden, and (B) shower they can walk into...

That is wild! Have to say, houses in that road have nice looking grass though, even the "cheap" one at £125k
