There Is No Reason...

Recommended Posts

For house prices to be this high..

All other arguments and perspectives put to the side.

There is no reason at all..

People are simply paying too much because others are..

And everyone is doing this because they are being told they should..

but if you take away all of the smoke and the mirrors.

the media hype, the excitment and the global belief in it all..

There is no reason what so ever that people are paying so much for property..

Apart from they think that they should..

Its like a mass hysteria..

A nice rant from someone who sees it the same as I do. First you can just smell its wrong, then you look at the figures and see you were right. Quite how people don't see it I don't know.

Anything elses rises by 20% for 5 years would be poo pooed and avoided. But not as safe as houses bricks and mortar, thats an investment.

We will all laugh about it in 10 years

Whilst in Sainsbury's on Sunday (I Have to eat whilst I wait for the crash) I saw that they sell a magasine that is called "Hot property" or something and promised to find you the next up and coming areas before anywhere else.

It was £3.50 PER WEEK!

Dear God will the madness never end?

I remember a Property Ladder, I think that it was last year.

A couple of blokes bought a mobile home to live in on site while doing up a place.

Sarah Beeny alluded to the possibility that they could sell the mobile home on for a profit (I think that they actually did!!). Try selling on an ordinary car, caravan, aeroplane or train and you will ALWAYS get a lower price. But if it can be lived in (albeit on rented land) then it goes up in value!

Nice to have a rant verified..

Ask someone how much a house is worth..

and then use the childish answer to their answer..

answer their answer with another question..

use the question

Why?

how much is that house worth..?

oh.. about £250,000

Why?

any answer here

Why?

any answer here

Why?

see how long their answers last..
