Urinating Standing Up May Soon Be Illegal In Europe

Recommended Posts

Standing up while urinating may soon be illegal for men in Europe. Male representatives on the Sormland County Council and the Left Party are pushing for “sitting only” public restrooms. Exactly how the self-avowed socialist and feminist political party plans on enforcing the allegedly more sanitary restroom habits of males remains to be seen. Supporters of the law against standing while urinating also believe that male health will be bolstered when urinating while sitting on a toilet so the bladder empties more effectively, according to the Huffington Post.

If upright male urination becomes too politically incorrect to tolerate in Western Europe any longer, legal citations may soon begin flying. The Naked Scientists website notes that a similar movement is also brewing in Germany, France and Holland.

University of Louisville professor John Gamel believes that seated urination laws will not stop men from behaving in a less than sanitary manner while relieving themselves. According to Gamel’s statements in the Huffington Post, spatter caused during the “shake off” will still occur in Europe because “no man will want to shake” by sticking their hand inside a toilet.

Feminists in some portions of Europe have begun carrying signs stating “Drop your trousers and sit” with a logo of a man urinating standing up with a big red “X” over the image. Some women are taking the fight against standing urination so seriously that placards have also been spotted with the wording, “Not another filthy puddle on MY bathroom floor!” to discourage standing while urinating at home.

The Left Party is not at a loss for reasons to outlaw standing while urinating in Europe. UPI reports that supporters also believe sitting while urinating will reduce potential prostate issues and bolster the opportunity for a longer sex life.

Good luck with that. Fvcking lefty Swedes.

A longer sex life???

You don't get dumped by your gf for getting home drunk and peeing all over the carpet.

I think it's a plot by carpet manufacturers to stop people having lino floors in toilets and bathrooms.

In other news, the pub inspectorate have announced water to be banned unless you've passed it first.

This nonsense will stay with the loonies. The lefty looniees who propose it, and the righty loonies who print propaganda stories suggesting someone might legislate in the real world.

(/me once had a girlfriend who would pee standing up when out in nature. I didn't actually witness it first-hand, so can't go into detail, but I expect it's a matter of ensuring a neat jet and a trajectory away from the body).

How will they enforce this? I would just carry on standing up. Are they going to have cameras in every cubicle?

not that ive ever seen one, but videos of ladies peeing suggests that some of the flow is pretty random too.

maybe, in the interests of equality, all peeing should be banned, with colostomy bags et al being issued for all.

No need for toilets anywhere...simply plug in to the weekly local home collection truck.....so hygenic and convenient.

You might want to get a patent on that idea. "I always carry my Bloo Loo."

I don't know any women who actually sit down when having a piss in a public loo. If they are to be believed they "hover" which generally results in piss on the seat, floor etc making more of a mess than even a cross eyed bloke with rotating willy.

Really?

Really?

I don't know about the mess but I can second that, whenever the subject of using public toilets has come up (which I confess is not very often) the claim is that they hover.

They hover? Facinating.

A short skirt may make an adequate plenum chamber, but how do they generate the necessary cushion of air? Furious queefing?

I find it unbelievable that people try to pee standing up in the loos on long distance buses! Mind you, after somebody has done that, you wouldn't want to sit down either!

And unusually I don't have a urinal installed, next to the beer fridge!

Lino floors in toilets and bathrooms? How cheap, I wouldn't accept anything but floor tiles in my bathroom.

Well thanks guys, I just asked Mrs EF if she hovers or sits, and got a lecture on how shoe always sits because hovering is bad for you to do with retention or something, and then an interrogation on what I was reading and why I was asking.

Reminds me of when I was interailing round Europe back in the 90's with a friend. I think it was in a youth hostel in Switzerland where I found an A4 paper sign up in the unisex toilet ordering any users to sit down only.

I pissed all over it.

How about a glass-top coffee table?

Please give me back those German "arty" films I lent you! :P

Guest unfunded_liability

In the mid 90's moved in to a house share. One of the two females already living there always had the shared phone on a long cable in her room which was slightly annoying as I was paying for a third of it. Things came to a head when she told me it was a female house and the toilet seat had to remain down. This motivated me to buy my own place - feminazis can be useful :)

There's nothing worse you can see, than your boss in a urinal, **** in one hand,( mine obviously takes two hands?) and cell phone in the other! It is bizzarre behaviour, because he never would do that elsewhere ( I think ) !
