3, Average UK wage.

4, Average UK Pension

£12,000

5, 1oz of Gold

Don't follow shiny stuff

6, 1KG of Silver.

See Above

7, The price of a new cheap family car

£10,000

8, The price of a unit of electricity.

£0.45 Unit

9, The price of Apple Shares

Gone Bust

10, The cost of a litre of Pertol/Diesel.

£6.00 Hence the cheap price of the motor as people will not be able to afford to run them. (I can recall fuel at 50p a litre back in 1997) It is getting on for 3 times that now, 15 years on.

This is a really good idea for a thread! I have no idea whatsoever, but will be intrigued by everyone's guesses.
