The Delivery Boy-Less Recovery

Recommended Posts

If only they had been around when I was younger, free fresh pizza for you and your mates as long as you can throw a decent-sized stone.

Nice bit of publicity for Domino's Pizas. More of a gimic in it's current state, some gadget geek might well pay an extra fiver for the priviledge of having a pizza delivered by air. As in all these sort of things if it ever became prophitable it would be taxed or restrictions put into place, ie license to fly/insurance as so on. Imagine the claims from some dick who puts his hands in the blades whilst still spinning.

I can't wait for the life of leisure when I don't have to work because there are drones doing it all. How will you pay for a pizza if you can't work because of drones?

You are Wonderpup and ICM£5.

In other news, have you noticed how many stories are starting to appear in the MSM showing drones in a positive light? Methinks we could be being softened up for something.

Send a Google driverless car round instead.

All this extra time and less money more and more people will be having due to falling demand of costly people skills.....why bother ordering an expensive rip-off price pizza.....make your own, if you can grow some of the topping yourself so much the better. ;)

Around where I used to work, it would either come back with no wheels, or be a burned-out wreck at the side of the road.

The Drone Olympics ?

:P

Like a "nice" version of Robot Wars?

First noticed it on Top Gear where they used an R/C quadrocopter thing to find the source of the Nile. Then a few days later our local news ran (for no apparent reason) a story on a company who were using something similar to take (admittedly stunning) photos of local landmarks. Now they deliver pizzas. The message seems to be "Don't worry about that thing buzzing over your head - whatever its purpose, it's bound to be something light-hearted or innocuous". When I'm quite sure the reality will be much more sinister.

Screw 'making' your own, buy a 3d printer and enjoy a pizza fresh off the printing press.

Only a matter of time before they clamp down heavily on RC aircraft enthusiasts. Can't have the people having their own drone technology and using it to keep tabs on their betters.

Fortunately its not that hard to make a signal jammer, so free pizza it is then.

You are Wonderpup and ICM£5.

Wonderpup's not a real person- just an AI system conducting an extended Turing test.

And doing rather well at it.

The most insidious part being that this just might be true.
