Dumb Names For Estate Agents

Recommended Posts

Would you employ either of these estate agents to sell/rent your home given their ridiculous names?

Kite Homes

This estate agent clearly hasn't heard of the term 'kite flying' in regard to selling houses

They even have a little man flying a kite as their logo. I wonder if that's on their 'for sale' and 'to let' boards?

Here's another one:

You con who?

Have you seen an Estate Agent with a dumber name?

There's this one in Blackpool

Edit: Used to live in Blackpool about six years ago. Looking at Rightmove now, there are so many properties for sale that I recognise as being for sale when I lived there. Blackpool is probably like the rest of the country except for London: price it right. and it might sell. Overprice it, and it will sit on the market for six years going nowhere. I think the "Kite" one might suit Blackpool well.

I've long suspected that estate agents make up their ridiculous names by picking two posh-sounding implausible names. This generally has the effect of making me hate them even more than I otherwise would.

The most odious include 'Jeremy Leaf', and the execrable 'Proffitt and Holt'.
