Why You Should Use Only Local Eas.

So this gem popped into my properypal feed this morning

Over 3 time Rateable Value. Seriously why do people go to an estate agent predominantly based in Belfast and ask them to sell a house in a market they obviously know nothing about. Are local agents being too realistic?

Here's what similar amounts of money get you in this area. And all these are probably overpriced and have no hope of selling.

I think they're chancing their arm - but for a different reason. Galgorm has undergone a series of expansions. They already have cottages on site, may be a speculative move by the owners to see if they'll be gobbled up for the land.

Too pricey for that however.

Oh but it's in a choice location location location. I don't even look at anything marketed by TR - if I could filter it out of propertypal I would. Total lunacy.

A friend of mine sold her house through TR last week - RV 220, got 240 within a few days of the sign going up. Cairnburn Avenue, Belmont.

So there.

I don't understand it either.

Who are these Africans?

A fairly adventurous shower in the last one for Ballymena folks I would have thought. Certainly putting their best assets in the front window so to speak! If they can't sell the house they could sell tickets!
