inflating
Idling away my time here in Polska, caught this toon twice over the last week or so on one of the satellite music stations and it strikes me as way above average, so I reckon it's well worth recommending. How often do I like a foreign song? About once in 30 years. So, have a listen... (Please don't ask about Polish pop music, most of what I've heard just leaves me stunned that they bothered.) The video of the lyrics is the music video The lyrics (unofficial translation!) I met you but you did not see me You were in the car was an instant But my heart has been blocked Or was stopped before and started to beat So many times I have imagined I will see you again that effect But now that it's happened does not matter whether it was your fault or mine what we all dream of love that the singers sing so strong, powerful, immense that seem exaggerated and impossible with a chest that seemed it would explode you do not need another one to live that the Universe may disappear except us except us I seem to remember that blades are bad but maybe I will try to remember to relive every moment beside you a life beside you and the mind knows that it is complicated what's broken now do not repair But the heart, you know, me has sworn knows that one day return yesss says come back soon and what we all dream of love that the singers sing so strong, powerful, immense that seem exaggerated and impossible with the chest that seems to explode that nothing else is more to life that there is no word to describe that you do not choose, and that you do not choose and we will be what everyone is looking for that love which the singers sing so strong, powerful, immense that seems exaggerated and impractical and that the chest is almost explode without which we can no longer live that the Universe may disappear except us ooooh oooh except us
thecrashingisles
Many of Dusty Springfields best songs were translations of Italian ballads. A lot of good music there.

The Eagle
Max Pezzali has done better songs in the '90s when he was part of the band '883', for example this one: This one has very cheeky lyrics: I can't believe these songs are 20 years old, I remember them like if they came out yesterday!
