Twenty Mps Pocket Up To £180,000 Each

Recommended Posts

If the properties were paid for entirely by the taxpayer, then the entire sale proceeds are profits, and should be returned to the taxpayer, nothing less.

......now it is easy to see why high house prices is on their agenda. ;)

Edit:.....big hint....why selling now?

Just another shining example of the immorality and self serving nature of our political classes, they all need to be in jail for theft and embezzlement from the public purse and made to pay back any gains with interest, anything less will be unacceptable.

I have to agree with the sentiment that it is no surprise we have such a ridiculous housing situation in this country when the very people that are supposed to actually make legislation to build more housing and run a sane economy are complicit in manipulating the whole system for their own enrichment, all at the expense of the rest of us.

If you vote liblabcon, you get what you deserve.

For all the Clegg bashing, he did the honourable thing and gave his windfall back. Not much chance of that from either the champagne socialists on the left or those to Clegg's right either.

Isn't his main residence one of those central London terraces that is worth a couple of million and every billionaire in the Gulf and China is desperate to get his hands on? His house probably increases in value by several thousand pounds per month.
