Tax Change ..........

Recommended Posts

Gordon seems to be getting ever more desperate.

Sounds to me like he wants more revenue from Fuel Duty, and would like to make sure that the ever increasing congestion on the roads continues to get even worse.

I see this doesn't apply to the self-employed, only those who've shifted some of their work from office to home...I guess our Gordon wants to persuade people to get entrepreneurial and go self-employed or keep going to the office with all those extra taxable costs. None of your namby-pamby third way stuff here!

There was me thinking that some working from home was supposed to be a "greener" way.

The Government, I thought, was all for a "greener" approach.

Talk as usual, unless the "greener" produces more tax revenue presumably.

Scraping and barrels comes to mind.

Must be every penny counts on the income side.

However I'm not so sure every penny is made accountable on the expenditure side of the books.
