right_freds_dead
how about since were bored waiting for the -40% correction over 1-3 years. why dont we design a crest and motto. im working on the crest, but ive managed to offer you a starter motto. 'three vicis persolvo vel nusquam' can any of you housing eggheads AND landlord parasites come up with anything.? when we get a winner we can make a mock up of it and hang it from a road bridge on the M25. ...remember not to make it offensive so no putting giant c0cks on it or anything rude. heres my only entry tonight. the lion represents the uk worker. strong and bold. fighting for the right of the lending shield. the stag represents the free market forces pulling in the opposite direction the favour of the lenders shield. note the coats of arms on the shield. be they flacid and flawed by political representations. Bored Train Driver
Ok, I've found a Latin to English translator. http://www.translation-guide.com/free_onli...atin&to=English Translating "three vicis persolvo vel nusquam" from Latin to English comes out with "three time to unloose or nowhere" !!!!!!!! Makes little sense to me!!!! However there are diferent choices for some of the words.... EG. Time could become Occassion, Opportunity or event To unloose could be Pay, Render, Discharge etc etc.... I couldn't be bothered to play around with the possible words and outcomes by then....I got bored.

slater14
vicis: change, alteration. persolvo : to unloose, explain, expound / pay off a debt, pay. vel : or, (adv.) even, actually, for example. vel : vel ... vel either ... or. nusquam : nowhere, on no occasion / nusquam esse -- not exist What are you trying to say exactly rfd? What a stupid language....and who exactly uses this stuff? and why? I've got a mate who went to Manchester Grammar (very middle class and very Jewish) got chatting to him about all this and the way tables are set with loads of spoons and stuff and starts laughing saying its what the middle classes do so they can laugh at you lot for picking up the wrong spoon...he was joking....I think. KTeetwo
To go with the Crest and Motto I thought an Anthem would be appropriate. The lyrics 'Gottabuyabighouse, Gottagetamoveon' by thebilderberggroup seem suitable(ish). http://yshp.brinkster.net/youngprofessiona...sure%20Time.mp3 Sorry can't do the links yet- but a copy and paste to a new page would do it. The Masked Tulip
I think there should be, like the men with dodgy handshakes (Freemasons), be a pyramid in there somewhere? Perhaps encompassing everything in a subtle way. Instead of the compass and set square there should be appropriate symbols of modern consumerism.
