FTB numbers show a marked improvement y-o-y- some 17% higher in number and roughly the same in loan value terms.

But, much of this increase is cancelled by the drop in numbers/value of loand to home movers, leaving an aggregate slight drop in m-o-m total but a nearly 5% improvement y-o-y in values. Check out the remortgaging figs though- down 30% y-o-y in number and 28% in value, and double-digit m-o-m drops to boot.
