Fraud ?

Recommended Posts

I seem to recall a BBC Wales news item coming from outside these blocks of flats in Barry at the height of the boom - I think the item was about how buoyant the Welsh economy was because flats of such expense were being built and sold.

Something looks amiss there doesn't it - who would you contact about that? The Police - what would they do? The financial regulator - would they even care? Is there a financial regulator for property?

Maybe I am house bubble weary but it seems to me that you can do anything with property in the UK financially - it is the UK's economic untouchable.

The LR really need to sort out their new build procedure. New-build properties are riddled with errors; incorrect addresses linked up to plot numbers, incorrect prices, mix-up between tenure, wrong street addresses, and the complete absence of some new estates.

This is almost certainly a mistake - probably the sale of a neighbouring property, or the freehold to the block itself.

Well after looking at sold prices in the same area in and around 2000 ish it looks like you are probably right as they seem to be selling for around 50-60 k so perhaps the 2 is a mistake or like you say perhaps its the freehold for the whoel block
