More Anecdotal evidence.

by Ceanothus 07 Nov 2005 10:46 AM

A friend of mine who lives in London has purchased 3 properties in Newcastle as BTLs since 2001 and has done well out of these.

The properties are managed by my friend's brother and his wife who have an estate agency and property management business.

Recently thinking about buying another property in Newcastle, they have been advised against this. Prices are falling fast.

The brother's estate agency are currently trying to sell 3 houses at £100K each for someone who bought them 18 months ago for £125K each.

Can't shift them, nobody's interested.
