What's In A Name?

Recommended Posts

My bestmate while working in London in the 80's was called Bob Sleigh. My wife had a friend at school called Gaynor Profitt. So much more fun naming kids back then...

What about poor old Dr Everard Cox. What were were parents thinking? Of course their was the archbishop of Manila who died last year - Cardinal Sin, but his parents can't be blamed for that.

I think Rubella would be a pretty name for a girl.

Imagine the scene, you're in the office, and the project manager has just taken a phone call.

He then proclaims "Bend her over, anyone?". Many shocked faces around the project office.

Yes, someone who previously worked in that office was called "Ben De Rover".
