Spoony
I watched it with some colleagues in the staff restaurant. they were shocked at such a dire outlook they were hearing. I think he predicted falls 5 - 10 % this year if I heard correctly. Did anyone here see it?

Eddie_George
He's certainly very consistent with his predictions. Not sure if that's a dig at his poor predictions , but he's on our side and he's still getting exposure, so it must be good.

The Knimbies who say No
See this page for his media outings, updated today by the looks of it: http://jonathandaviswm.com/jonathan-davis-media/ Just listening to him taking apart a Belfast EA in November on the Nolan show. "I understand what Jonathan is saying, but houses are affordable now..... I know some people talk the market up but I'm talking from real experience...." Lambs to the slaughter. @contradevian
Not sure if that's a dig at his poor predictions , but he's on our side and he's still getting exposure, so it must be good. His personal and professional reputation are on the line of course, which of course requires several orders of magnitude more guts than merely posting on an internet forum (not a dig at you by way - I am very much an anonymous coward too, but just do my small bit to spread doom, gloom and despondency regarding house prices across the net.). erranta
He has been saying it for 10 years, still i hope he is right though, last i heard he bought a house, No Govt billions of hidden housing subsidy manipulation - look what happens "2 Oct 2012 ... It found prices in Northern Ireland were still furthest from peak, with prices down 53% compared with 2007 levels.!
The Masked Tulip
He did. Finally someone on HPC spelling his name right. Not Johnathon Davies :-D I think he has had some botox and his hair lightened over Christmas. Was that rouge on his lips as well? Ruddy media whore! Sky must have liked what was said as they have been repeating it since lunch. I think I saw Joel smile when a 5 to 10 percent price drop was mentioned. warpig
Sorry I merged 2 posts, I thought you were agreeing you had bought a house. Why are you pretending not to be Jonathan Davis? The Masked Tulip
Sorry I merged 2 posts, I thought you were agreeing you had bought a house. Why are you pretending not to be Jonathan Davis? Isn't that obvious. Both Batman and Superman post here as well but they don't want the general public knowing about their HPC alter-egos. eric pebble
He has been saying it for 10 years, ......//.... & the only reason his predictions haven't fully played out are because of the scandalous propping up of artificial & fraud-derived property "prices" - thanks mainly to fraudulent lending the world over on the greatest scale ever in history..... [i.e. PREDATORY LIAR LOANS]. Prices have corrected themselves in places like the USA & Ireland - because there it is simply impossible to stem the tide of natural & normal market forces..... Here in the UK - Gordon-thick-as-pig-shit-Brown put an artificial floor under the banks - and got the printing presses going printing money ad infinitum.... We live with the consequences. Very interesting & scary to hear how the Japanese did this 23 years ago - - and despite property prices coming down 80% ---- 80%!!!! FCOL!!!!!! --- the Japanese are STILL in the doldrums......] Things just do not bode well for the UK. Broon DESTROYED us -- and the coalition govt. is completely stuck with a shatteringly broken down machine...... Charlie The Tramp Returns
Are you sure about that? I've never heard of him buying a house. The last I heard he was renting a Mansion in Hertfordshire at a peppercorn rent where he was interviewed by that BBC bloke Evan Davis IIRC. Things just do not bode well for the UK. Broon DESTROYED us -- and the coalition govt. is completely stuck with a shatteringly broken down machine...... And with not one qualified mechanic to repair it.
