is that a good price with five acres of land ?

No it really isn't. You could pick a site up for less than £50,000 (more like £30,000) and the 5 acres would be expensive at £8,000 an acre. So the total price should be £90,000 on a good day with the wind blowing in the right direction and the EA being super hot.

The price could vary a lot. It will entirely depend on the site and quality of land. But I agree it is never worth £150k in the current market.

Maybe they are just testing the market. If they are serious about selling - the price will drop when they get no interest/offers. At the minute they think there is loads of interest because of all the hits from this site

£300,000 and sale agreed  Must be the sea view

£100,000 capital value

It could be one where someone made a realistic offer and actually had it accepted.

I tracked a house for two years as it cranked down from £550,000 to £350,000 and was shocked to discover one day that it had gone sale agreed, as I thought it was still wildly over-priced. I later found out that a friend's neighbour got it for £150,000 cash.
