50 jobs axed by arcade games firm

A KENT firm that has been building arcade games for more than 50 years has gone into administration.


50 jobs set for Abertillery

Fifty jobs are on the way to Abertillery with the launch of a £200,000 packaging venture. Alliance Integrated Solutions has set up business on the Roseheyworth Business Park, with the support of business-backers UK Steel Enterprise and other investors. The company specialises in packaging CDs and DVDs and has plans to expand into other areas



Tesco jobs in jeopardy as depot set to close

TESCO is closing its Kiln Farm distribution depot employing 650.

The workforce was told the depot would shut down on February 25 in an announcement by the company yesterday (Monday).

Management say the 32-year-old depot in the north of the city could no longer operate at a level needed to serve the company's stores and customers.

It is in talks with the union Usdaw and meeting workers on a one-to-one basis in an attempt to relocate as many staff as possible.
