eurows
I thought the Nationwide figures were out yesterday. Someone posted a leak saying it would be +.3%. Has it been out yet. The leak seems unlikely to be true if the data is taking so long.
Tempest
Monday I suspect - watch for leaks in the Sunday press. The recent 0.3% was a poll of economists median prediction not a leak. Even if it is up it is hardly likely to reverse the trend.

Yeah, it says in the article about the "economists median", but if the figures come out and are within 0.1% of it, I would say it is a way of getting round the embargo. Prude
Even if they report house prices have not moved on a month to month basis (give or take a 0.1% or so) then they will also be able to report a rise in the annual rate from +1.8% to +3.2%ish because of the £1500 fall they recorded in Oct'04 which will be used as the comparative figure. Jason
So where's Nationwide? Maybe they're delaying until tomorrow, as there's enough spin in the news today!
erd
So where's Nationwide? Maybe they're delaying until tomorrow, as there's enough spin in the news today! They normally say what week they are coming out in, then usually put them out on Thursday or Friday.
