Ea's War Over Valuations

Could this be true, in the property section published yesterday in the Exeter area, one EA is openly snipping at others over the valuation of properties.

Mind you, he is promoting the fact that he has just taken on a property that had failed to sell at 465K with another EA, and remarketing it for 395K.

He is openly stating that prices are down 6% and that the remaining part of the year will be tough. He is also informing sellers that valuations might be a shock in a buyers market, but you will make it up on your next purchase, if thats valued correctly. (maybe he is getting desperate for business –at last).

Punch line from agent – “ as well as putting your property on the market at a sensible figure, you will also need to make certain that your agents and their team are EXPERIENCED in selling in a buyers market” – do EA’s really have long term memories ??. :o
