apom Report post Posted October 26, 2005 Personally I heard the phrase house price crash.. on ITV and C4.. the bbc1 strory was bearish.. nothing spoke of recovery.. only of the crash. this will be a day I remember.. Until tomorrow when the same channels come up with story about prices rising because of cheese being discovered on the moon... etc.. but good day do you think.. Spare a moment for those poor buggers who... blah.. blah... never mind.

oracle Report post Posted October 26, 2005 one article does not a story make. it will take several more weeks/months of sustained media influence to convince joe public that this correction/pullback/crash is the real deal and they have been hoodwinked by the banks. sutained negativity is the order of the day....then the masses will believe. Agreed, no doubt some VI joker will publish results of a survey claiming that house prices rose 2%, or whatever, in october . They will fight it all the way down! Loanshark Report post Posted October 26, 2005 I suspect many people know they have a debt problem now, hence the big downturn in spending, it is just that they are keeping the problem private for as long as they can.
