House Prices Closer To London's

Recommended Posts

WELSH house prices have dramatically closed the gap on London properties over the past two years, according to new figures published today.
"Despite the slowdown and a relatively flat housing market in Cardiff, there are clear pockets of house price strength in Wales," added Mr Delaney.
But he warned the Welsh market was clearly slowing down with prices rising by 5.3% over the past year - still 2.3% more than the UK average - compared to 38% growth a year ago.

38% growth a year ago? Geesh! Hmm, should I buy a house today and pay 38% more than I could have done so last year? Let me see...

"It remains a pretty mixed picture throughout Wales, with demand rising in some places in advance of Christmas, and static in others because of a lack of confidence and over-ambitious sellers."

Yep,

This always happens. I saw it in the last crash too. It's a bit like watching a 40 foot jugernault about to crash, when the back end of it swings around to the front close to the driver's cab.

Basically the words a*rs and elbow come to mind.
