Some of you may remember a few weeks ago, I placed a post regarding the sale of "my" house in Letchworth, well it was originally 189K this time last year, my first offer of 172.5K was accepted in feb, then it fell through. Later, another offer of 167.5K was accepted, but again I couldn't move. Well a few weeks ago an offer of 161K was made by another party, which was accepted, but then was withdrawn a few days later.

Anyhow, a few days ago, a young bright thing couple, desperate to move in together, made an offer of 163.5K!!!!! which was accepted- Fell off my perch- HOW DUMB- they could/should have tried 155K MAX and haggled!! and they were well to do intelligent people- I ask you- they had NO competition, no chains, NUFFINK to let the desperate venders off the hook... If they had done their homework how muc hwould they save over the term of the mortgage...?

Now I need to pack bags for house move No.4 this year ho hum.
