Stocks get slammed

Market slumps on worries over profits, inflation; after hours, Google issues strong 3Q earnings.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Stocks slumped Thursday on a mix of disappointing profit outlooks from eBay and Pfizer, worries about inflation and slower economic growth, following Wednesday's late-day rally.

But the fed are committed to slaughtering Inflation. Possible 0.5% rise next? I really wonder!

..and the FTSE still managed to fall despite opening much higher following the rally on Wall Street on Wednesday.

Where will the FTSE open tomorrow? It has already fallen >6% in little over 2 weeks.
