Blunkets Btl

Recommended Posts

Don't cabinet ministers get paid enough? Or do they have to supplement there earnings with btl. Doesn't set a good example in my book it just appears grabbing, somewhat grubby and oppertunist. Very poor show.

DAVID BLUNKETT was reported to House of Commons authorities yesterday for breaching the MPs’ code of conduct by using Commons headed notepaper to object to a building development near his house in South London.
Mr Blunkett was reported to the Commons authorities in 2000 when he failed to disclose the £700 monthly rental income from the house in the Commons register of interests.

Have a gander at the article http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,17...1823544,00.html

To be fair to the guy, he shouldn't even have a government job any more and this wouldn't be a problem for him. He has zero integrity at all. We are supposed to feel warm and fuzzy that a man with such a disability has achieved what he has, but he really has shown that anybody can be 'undesirable', to say the least, no matter who they are.

He should have got the sack and lost his pension for his expenses 'oversight', like anybody else in the civil service would have.
