Offers In Excess Of?

Recommended Posts

I have seen loads of property's in bristol going from a normal a rightmove listing to saying "Offers in Excess of".

Eg.

1. was on for £190k for 4 months now says Offers in Excess of £180k

2. was on for £175k for 6 months now says Offers in Excess of £170k

3. was on for £180k for 3 months now says Offers in Excess of £170k

Do they think it will sell better??

We're seeing 'price range £460-£490K'. Why would anyone offer more than £460?? They are usually houses that are really sticking, and no-one wants them even at (in this example) £460. It's a bizarre idea.

IMO They'll go from "silly" offers to no offers at all.
