Best Car Scratch Remover?

So got the motor back from the garage t'other day. Today noticed a slight scuff on the bumper. Certain it wasn't there before but would like it removed. It's about 3x2.5 inches. What's the best and cheapest way to remove it? Are the scratch repair kits any good? It doesn't have to be buff perfect as not a new car, but rather an improvement. It hasn't gone through to metal.

(Lesson learned: get a before and after damage inspection report done.)

Without a picture it is hard to tell, but have a look at a website called detailingworld and it will give you an idea of what can be achieved. It amazing what can be improved.

I use somtheing called swirlx for light scratches which works well. Also have some old t-cut metallic which is quite abrasive and has been useful....

Very annoying when garages damage your car isnt it!
