Will Bankruptcy Law Have To Tighten?

Recommended Posts

This is about to happen in the US, so it will not be as easy to walk away from debt - in many cases, bankrupts will have to go on paying creditors for years; will we have to go the same route in order to lessen the otherwise huge problems that 'too-easy' bankruptcy will create, if the numbers start to climb ? I believe so..

I have also read that in the UK creditors can grab a portion of your salary even when you come out of bankrupcty. The law makes it easy to declare bankurptcy and allows you to start working / trading farily quickly, but what a lot of people do not realise is that it also allows creditors to get their money back as well!

It is not the get out of jail free card that many seem to think it is. <_<

I see much whining and whinging on the horizon!
