This detached luxurious mansion has had over £6 million invested in its total refurbishment and renovation. It represents one of Newcastle’s most impressive residences. The property has a high security system and great privacy.

So guess how much it's on for sale at.

Yes, I saw the Ambleside property when it came on the market yonks ago. The asking price looked highly optimistic.

How about this one. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-35070482.html?premiumA=true Came on the market at the start of the year at £5M. Now a snip at £3.95M.

At the same time, 5 miles away you could have had a Grade 2 pile, 12 bedrooms, pool, squash court, indoor shooting range, dower house. Plus a cottage, two flats, 26 stables, barn, 47 acres, a river and a lake, all for a measly £3.35M. http://media.primelocation.com/KFGR/KFLO/KFLO999000460/BROCH_01.PDF That's now off the market, presumably unsold.
