Whenever the local EA is showing people around our neighbouring house I like to sit in the garden wearing a combat jacket and reading "Guns Weekly".The effect is heightened by empty lager cans scattered around the garden.Putting up a wooden post and using it for axe throwing practice can only help.

I think you are missing a few tricks. Have you considered:

  1. Buying an old Capri that you can put up on bricks

  2. Placing Socialist Worker/Scientology/"Stop the nuclear waste dump" posters in your windows

  3. Having a ghetto blaster with you playing death metal/Marylin Manson/country and western

  4. Introducing yourself to your potential new neighbours over the fence with a cod German/Russian accent in that combat jacket.

  5. If either of you has a pond, put the beach boys on the ghetto blasher, wear a crash helmet and bermuda shorts and stand in the pond shouting "surf's up dudes"

  6. Wearing a fake long beard and baggy pantaloons whilst reading the gun magazine
