Tax Money Waste Thingy, Subject, Matter Nookie Related, Ahem

Recommended Posts

I heard about this initially on Radio 4, Mr John HUMPhrys laughed and said if you can't get it by then, you've no chance at 60!

The workshop set up by Portsmouth Council had to be cancelled as only 4 people signed up <<<snigger>>>

The DM has the full SP http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2048514/No-sex-60-Raunchy-OAP-classes-cancelled-lack-interest.html

It looks like the people voted with their feet and the workshop can go **** themselves!

Boomb boom! (or bang bang, in this case).

'You’d be surprised how many people over the age of 50 use the Portsmouth GUM clinic'

Well, dental care decades ago wasn't as good as it is today.

Is this really any of the council's business? Shouldn't they stick to street cleaning, pothole repairing etc. You know, the boring but important stuff.

If it's a health issue, surely the NHS should be doing this.

Not only that but...

There is a serious side to this while the media concentrate on STD's rates in teenagers, you are in fact more likely to contract one from a baby boomer.

For certain reasons people over 55 are less likely to practise safe sex. Many started their sex lives in the sixties, early seventies before the aids scares so condom use was limited. The cost of treatment is far more expensive than an education programme. So next time you go to a grab a granny night make sure you are fully protected.

My experience from working in Local govt was one of upper management wanting to stick its nose into new areas whilst neglecting all its core services (ie those they have a legal responsibility to provide).

The knobhead I worked for before I got out was constantly banging on about the Council becoming a 'community champion' and taking the lead in virtually every aspect of peoples life

I have heard quite a few anecdotes of merry grannies heading off to the Carribean to experience the black mamba, not worrying about safe sex as they cant get preggers and coming back with HIV
