Bbc - Sips Again

BBC this morning report on SIPS

Started off sounding bullish then listed the conditions under which people would benefit

Generous tax break to only the very wealthy not likely to cause property boom.

Advisor said that even if you had 200k in a pension it was probably not a good idea to borrow a further 100k and buy a 300k property in your SIPS as you would be exposed to a single asset class and if the "property market CRASHED" before you retired you could be in trouble. Yes that was the CRASH word on BBC B)

The press seem to have gone to town looking at the mythical benefits of adding property to SIPPS without asking the question why is Bown giving tax breaks that will only benefit a few very rich individuals, I thought Brown was a socialist.
